We have nearly completed our demo! It'll be a SEVEN song E.P available for MP-3 download from our website. Free copies will also be available at future shows. Not only have we been recording, we also have been working on some killer new songs. We are looking forward to jammin' these songs for your soon. On a down note, we are currently seeking a new bassist. Any interested parties can reach us at manipulant.com/webmail. MANIPULANT STORY
The Sound of Manipulant is both odd and obscure. It is also infectious and familiar in an unfamiliar way. It is the sum experience of its members. Formed at the end of 2004 this band has one principle: make music that is true and do it without trying to be anything. Throughout each song are slivers of influence from those who came before, but the overall feel is hard to describe. Heavy, dark, brooding, lamenting, and at the same time upbeat and hopeful. This music will never sell out or fall short of the vision that started it and defines it. Death to mediocrity.
